Naomi Campbell Welcomes Second Child at 53

British supermodel Naomi Campbell has surprised her social media followers with the news of a new addition to her family. The 53-year-old model shared on Instagram that she welcomed her second child, a baby boy, this week. “It’s never too late,” she wrote in the caption, which racked up a ton of congratulatory messages from her friends and fans. She did not reveal where or when her son was born. He joins her daughter, who debuted with her mother, on the March 2022 cover of British Vogue.

Campbell’s new boy is the first male in her family and will likely be the only one for quite some time, as the model is very private about her children and does not frequently share photos of her daughter online. However, she adorably posed with her little one for the March Vogue cover photo and spoke to the magazine about how being a mom has given her a more complete, selfless outlook. “It’s a different world, but it’s such a blessing,” she said. “You have to love and cherish everyone — especially your children.”

Though she rarely shares pictures of her daughter, the two were also pictured together on a red carpet in May at the Met Gala and Cannes Film Festival. The pair even sat front row at the latest Louis Vuitton men’s collection, designed by Pharrell Williams.

As for her baby boy, the new mom of two posted a picture of herself cradling him and holding his hand with her rare daughter. She tagged the post with the hashtags #mumoftwo and #loveisafamily.

She has not revealed if she carried her son or used a surrogate, but she did say it is a true gift from God. Her millions of fans and friends quickly congratulated the star, including fashion royalty like Donatella Versace, Joseph Altuzarra, Claudia Schiffer, and Pieter Mulier. “Congratulations, mama!!!!!!! Welcome to the fam,” tweeted fellow model Ashley Graham.

Regardless of how she became a mom for the second time, the global icon is undoubtedly doing something right because her newest addition is adorable. “My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence,” she continued in her caption. “A True Gift from God – blessed.”

The proud grandmother is no stranger to adversity, having been the victim of a severe car accident in which she was severely injured and lost her left eye. She has since devoted her life to charity work and is a global ambassador for the Save The Children organization. In her spare time, she’s been busy promoting the release of her upcoming film, Not My Problem. The film will hit theaters on November 18. Check out the adorably posed photos below.
